Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if storms develop. .Excessive Rainfall...Localized ponding of water in roads and poorly drained areas. .Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution, particularly across the offshore Atlantic waters. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone, particularly across southeastern, eastern, and northern beaches of Puerto Rico, Vieques, and Culebra. Isolated stronger rip currents may occur elsewhere, especially near piers, jetties, and channels. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Lightning and flooding risks will continue through the period, mainly due to an passing shortwave trough aloft and surface trough. The highest risk for both hazards is expected during the first half of the week, especially on Tuesday. Flooding coverage will increase Tuesday, then become more limited and localized later in the week, with lightning risk also gradually decreasing toward the weekend. Marine and rip current risks will remain limited, mainly driven by breezy conditions. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
