426 AM AST Thu Nov 20 2025

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms are expected, particularly
across coastal areas early in the day and again after sunset.
During the afternoon, the greatest risk will be across the
interior to western and southwestern Puerto Rico. Stay alert and
be prepared to take shelter if storms develop.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes is possible, especially across the interior to
western and southwestern Puerto Rico. There is a low chance of
isolated flash floods, mainly across southwestern PR where
convection is expected to persist. Elsewhere, expect water ponding
on roads and in poorly drained areas.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone. These dangerous conditions are expected across north-
and east-facing beaches of Puerto Rico and the northern beaches of
Culebra, with isolated stronger rip currents possible elsewhere,
especially near piers, jetties, and channels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Localized and limited excessive rainfall and lightning risks may
continue through Friday, but conditions will trend more stable and
drier through the weekend and into early next week. The risk of
rip currents will drop to moderate on Friday and low on Sunday,
then increase back to moderate early next week, with life-
threatening conditions possible in moderate-risk areas. A limited
non-thunderstorm wind risk is possible across the local waters and
exposed coastal areas early next week. Increasing winds and
incoming northerly swells may also generate hazardous seas for
small craft by Tuesday and Wednesday, which could further elevate
rip current risk during that period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
