Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if storms develop. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding in urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes, particularly across west-northwestern PR and metro area. There is a low chance of isolated flash floods. Elsewhere, plan for water ponding on roads and in poorly drained areas. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration, with those sensitive to heat at the highest risk. Impacts likely in some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and infrastructures. These conditions are most likely across the urban and coastal areas of Puerto Rico. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Heat threats will remain the primary concern throughout the period, while the risk of localized flooding and lightning strikes will persist each day (particularly during the afternoons). Low marine and coastal risks are forecast through Wednesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is encouraged.
