            San Juan Emergency Management reported that
            a 50-year-old man was swept away by currents
            at Escambrn Beach near the Campamento de
            las Picas. A lifeguard rescued the
            individual from the water and performed CPR.
            The man was conscious and alert while
            awaiting emergency medical personnel and was
            subsequently transported by ambulance to
            Ashford Hospital for medical evaluation.
