They can also increase the risk of heat-related illness among individuals sensitive to heat with inadequate cooling or hydration. These risks are highest across coastal areas, lowlands, interior valleys, and urban zones. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
