...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM MDT THIS
EVENING FOR NORTHEASTERN GARFIELD AND SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTIES...

At 555 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the Robbers Roost area near the Dirty Devil River,
including Angel, Larry, Alcatraz, and Bull Pasture Canyons down to
Two Step Canyon and Bushwack Boogie Canyon near Lake Powell. Up to
0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot
         canyons, and normally dry washes.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  slot canyons in the Robbers Roost area near the Dirty Devil River,
  including Angel, Larry, Alcatraz, and Bull Pasture Canyons down to
  Two Step Canyon and Bushwack Boogie Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Dry
washes, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a
matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
