...DRY AND STABLE THROUGH THIS EVENING, WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS LATE TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY...
.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Dry and stable conditions with cool
temperatures persist until low pressure moves into the region
later tonight with showers and thunderstorms developing across
southern Utah and moving into northern Utah by Tuesday morning.
.DISCUSSION...Dry and stable conditions persist through much of
today before showers and thunderstorms develop across southern UT
late this evening, with coverage increasing into central and
northern UT through Tuesday morning. Storm coverage and intensity
looks to increase Tuesday afternoon, with the potential for severe
thunderstorms capable of wind gusts in excess of 58mph and hail
potentially in excess of 1 inch across central and northern UT, as
well as southeast UT.
Conditions become dry and stable once again come Wednesday, though
some isolated showers and thunderstorms may continue across
eastern UT. Conditions look to dry further through the remainder
of the week.
