...DRIER THROUGH THURSDAY BEFORE MONSOON MOISTURE RETURNS...

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Conditions will trend hotter and drier for
Wednesday and Thursday, bringing isolated marginally critical fire
weather conditions to portions of western Utah. Monsoon moisture
will return beginning Friday, persisting through early next week.

.DISCUSSION...High pressure to the west of Utah will bringing a
warming and drying trend through Thursday, bringing temperatures
up to 10F above seasonal normals by Thursday afternoon. Relative
humidities will drop, with pockets of critically low RH values
developing by Thursday. Winds could be enough to bring isolated
pockets of critical fire weather conditions Thursday afternoon,
but coverage is looking increasingly limited. As the ridge moves
eastward Friday, monsoon moisture will move into the area from the
south, remaining in place through early next week. This will
bring increased potential for wetting rainfall, improved RH
values, but also the potential of storms that could produce heavy
rain that could lead to flash flooding.
