thunderstorms will develop after noon today, with the main
threats being lightning and gusty outflow winds up to 30 mph,
particularly before 1800. The heaviest storms may produce a brief
period of heavy rain, though this chance is low. Further warming
and drying is expected through the weekend, with no precipitation
expected beyond Friday evening. Temperatures will continue to
gradually increase, reaching near normal by Sunday.
