.DISCUSSION...A storm system will approach from the southwest tonight
and build into the area early Tuesday. Snow will be moderate to
heavy much of Tuesday. Snowfall accumulation will range from 6-12
inches through Tuesday with 0.5-1.0 inches of water. A combination
of light transport winds and lower mixing heights will limit
clearing to below 500. Clearing will increase some the next day,
but likely be below 500, as there will be better mixing. Another
3-8 inches of snow and 0.25-0.75 inches of water is likely. Storm
total snow will most likely range from 12-18 inches with 1.0-1.5
inches of water content.
