.DISCUSSION...Scattered showers and thunderstorms will once again
develop this afternoon likely after 1400. However, there is a low
(20%) chance that storms develop as early as 1200 over Boulder
Mountain. Boulder Top will be on the northern periphery of
thunderstorms today, so there is some uncertainty still in the
spatial coverage of storms, unlike past days. Storms will be
capable of producing gusty and erratic outflow winds up to 40 mph,
lightning, and periods of moderate-heavy rain. Outside of any
outflow, winds will be relatively light and terrain-driven. More
afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected through the
weekend.
