.DISCUSSION...Increasingly hotter and drier conditions will spread over
the fire area over the next couple of days before moisture
arrives into Utah. Until then, anticipate conditions to warm by
3-5 degrees on Wednesday with humidity dropping by 3-6 percent as
compared to Tuesday. West to northwest winds are expected through
the afternoon hours each day, with the most pronounced northwest
winds expected through East Canyon on the southwest side of the
fire. During the overnight period, downsloping winds are expected
across the fire alongside fair to good overnight humidity
recovery. Moisture spreads into Utah late this week/ early in the
weekend bringing potential for showers and thunderstorms over the
fire area, as well as higher afternoon humidity.
