with gradually increasing southerly winds expected each afternoon
through the latter half of the week. As such, efficient mixing

period. Wetter weather is expected Friday into the weekend as two
weather systems impact the region; the first system brings
increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon
into Saturday morning. There is considerable uncertainty still on
how much precipitation this storm will produce for the area, with
the lower end indicating only up to 0.1" of precipitation, while
the higher end indicates totals around 0.8-0.9". There is more
certainty that Sunday into Monday will bring more substantial
precipitation accumulations to the region, with rain transitioning
to snow overnight into Monday morning.
