.DISCUSSION...Increasing moisture will spread over the fire area through
the next 24 hours, bringing higher chances for showers and
thunderstorms. The increased moisture will bring an overall higher
chance for wetting rains and higher afternoon minimum humidity
values. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will also bring the
threat of gusty and erratic outflow winds and lightning over the
fire. Chances for showers will exist over the area through the
late evening hours, potentially maintaining a low chance for
showers through the overnight hours. As such, humidity recoveries
are expected to be good.

Dry west to southwesterly flow will spread over the area through
the day on Thursday. A chance for showers and thunderstorms will
exist over the fire through the morning hours, with conditions
drying as the day goes on. That said, a slight chance for showers
and thunderstorms will exist in the afternoon on Thursday. Winds
will increase out of a west to southwesterly direction, with peak
gusts of 25-35 mph (higher end of gusts on upper elevation high
exposure slopes and ridges). Hot, dry, and windy conditions will
become more prevalent heading into the weekend, increasing the
overall threat of critical fire weather conditions over the fire
area.
