.DISCUSSION...Moisture will remain in place through Thursday, however,
overall coverage of showers and thunderstorms will be less than
what was seen on Wednesday. As overall coverage of storms will be
lower, the chances for wetting rains will also be much lower as
moisture gradually begins to wane. That said, if a stronger
thunderstorm moves over the fire area, wetting rains are likely to
be achieved. The most likely period to see these showers will be
from about 1200 through 2000. If no precipitation is observed over
the fire, the fire weather environment will continue to have
relatively high afternoon humidity values. However, with a drying
trend expected over the region through the latter half of the
week, afternoon minimum humidity will be upwards of 15 to 20
percent lower than Wednesday.

Aside from the moisture, winds will remain terrain driven barring
no outflows from area showers and thunderstorms. Ridgetop winds
will be favored out of the west to northwest direction through
Thursday afternoon, trending more toward a northwest to north
direction by Thursday evening.
