over the area today as high pressure shifts overhead. The next
storm system crossing the area late tonight through tomorrow will
bring limited moisture, with precipitation largely confined to
areas north of the burn site. Southerly winds will persist
through tonight, then transition to northwesterly tomorrow with
the cold front. An extended period of dry conditions will then take
hold until at least the middle of next week when the next
potential storm system arrives.
