.DISCUSSION...Increasingly hot and dry conditions are expected to build
over the fire area through the next couple of days, with a very
low chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm over the high
Tushar ridgeline. Today, terrain driven flows will transition to a
broad west to southwesterly winds over the fire area, with peak
gusts to around 20 mph on higher exposure west-facing slopes and
high elevation ridges. After sunset, winds will transition back to
a terrain driven flow on slopes and in drainages, with ridgetops
maintaining a westerly wind through the overnight hours.
Temperatures increase by 2-3 degrees on Wednesday with humidity
falling by 3-5 percent.
