.DISCUSSION...Warming and drying conditions will spread over the fire
area today as moisture decreases across the region. High
temperatures are expected to increase by 3 to 5 degrees as
compared to Friday, with relative humidity falling by 10 to 15
percent. While moisture will decrease across the region, isolated
showers and thunderstorms may still be present in the area during
the afternoon hours. Chances for showers and thunderstorms are
still very low (10 percent or less). Expect winds to be terrain
driven through the morning and early afternoon hours before
becoming more persistent out of the west. Sheltered east facing
terrain may still continue to see upslope flows through the
afternoon. Continued warming (T increase by 3 degrees) and drying
(humidity down 5 percent) is expected into Sunday with generally
light and terrain driven flows prevailing.
