.DISCUSSION...A storm system will cross Utah today, bringing
precipitation to the area, mainly late morning through afternoon.
However, limited moisture will be available, and as a result,
precipitation will be relatively light. Expect between 0.10-0.30
inches of precipitation with 1-2 inches of snow. Light
southeasterly winds this morning will turn west to northwest late
this morning behind a cold front. Temperatures will also trend
cooler behind this front. High pressure and drier conditions
return tomorrow, but a weak weather disturbance will then cross
the area tomorrow night into Friday. This second system may bring
a light dusting of snow at best. Thereafter, temperatures trend
warmer again and a more prolonged period of dry and stable
conditions will settle into the area through at least the middle
to latter part of next week.
