Service.

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT TONIGHT...

.DISCUSSION...Main weather threat through this evening will be
erratic and gusty winds as showers continue to develop across
northern Utah. The southerly winds at the time of this forecast
issuance will continue to decrease which should allow winds to
turn back to a more westerly direction after 1600-1630, but this
shift will be dependent on additional outflows. There is a small
chance of generally light rain showers at the burn site through
this evening, with an even lower (but nonzero) chance of
lightning. Shower and thunderstorm chances diminish after midnight
and winds will settle in to a typical nighttime east-
southeasterly direction. For tomorrow, there will be a slightly
higher chance of showers and thunderstorms, and these storms will
likely be stronger, so lightning and wetting rain chances increase
as well. Winds tomorrow will follow typical diurnal trends of a
westerly direction during the afternoon through early evening
hours, and east-southeast overnight, but erratic and gusty winds
will be likely with outflows from showers and thunderstorms.
Otherwise temperatures will remain hot, with highs approaching 100
degrees.
