.DISCUSSION...A closed low pressure system will pass well to the
south overnight tonight, resulting in one more day of better
mixing today before that occurs. More stable conditions given
decreased winds and more subsidence are expected tomorrow through
at least Friday and perhaps even into the weekend if a secondary
low pressure system remains far enough south. Today, expect
scattered rain showers to persist, with a lull in precipitation
expected after roughly 0300. Precipitation type may transition to
snow in the very early hours of the morning (60% chance) if any
isolated showers are in the area, but should change back to rain
after around 0800. More scattered rain showers will develop after
1200, with a low chance for thunder.
