.DISCUSSION...Hot temperatures will remain in place over the fire area
throughout the week, with very little day to day change expected.
Moisture content over the fire will peak on Wednesday, decreasing
thereafter as a drier airmass moves into the region. As such,
relative humidity will drop back into the single digits for the
lower elevations by Thursday, and as early as Wednesday. With the
little bit of moisture overhead on Tuesday and Wednesday, there
will be a very low chance for high-based showers and an isolated
thunderstorm (particularly on Wednesday). Infrequent lightning and
gusty and erratic outflow wind gusts will be the primary threat,
although chances for these hazards will be low overall. Otherwise,
anticipate generally light winds each day. Slope driven flows are
expected on Tuesday, with more predominant south to southwest
winds on Wednesday, and a return to slope flows on Thursday.
Ridgetops will remain out of the southwest predominantly.
