.DISCUSSION...Northwest winds will continue to impact the wildfire,
strongest on exposed ridgelines through 2000-2100. Showers and
thunderstorms far to the west may produce an outflow boundary that
shifts winds to the southwest around 2000 with gusts up to 30
mph.
For the planning portion of the forecast...
South to southwest winds, strongest on exposed ridgelines will
shift to the northwest after 1000-1100. Winds will remain
strongest on exposed ridgelines. Outflow winds may impact the
wildfire after 1500, bringing stronger gusts up to 30 mph.
Humidities will trend slightly higher, however any showers or
thunderstorms will be isolated with minimal threat of rain
Tuesday. Winds will shift back to the south to southwest around
2000...with the threat of outflow winds from distant showers and
thunderstorms continuing through 2200.
