...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...A late season surge of monsoon moisture will remain
across the fire area through Thursday resulting in several rounds
of showers and thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall is possible
with any storms which pass over the fire, which may result in flash
flooding and debris flows. Gusty outflow winds to 40 mph will be
possible with any thunderstorms passing near the area. With this
moisture in place, daytime RH will remain elevated above 40 percent
with good to excellent overnight recovery. Away from any outflows,
winds will remain terrain driven through midday Thursday before
gusty southwest winds surface by early afternoon. This moisture
will remain in place through Friday maintaining a chance for
showers and thunderstorms.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (50-60 percent cloud cover). A
                    chance of showers in the morning, then showers
                    likely with a chance of thunderstorms in the
                    afternoon.
CWR.................50 percent.
Chance of pcpn......60 percent.
Chance of lightning.33 percent.
Max temperature.....80-85.
Min humidity........45-55 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........South 3-7 mph becoming southwest 5-9 mph with
                    gusts to 20 mph in the afternoon. Gusty outflow
                    winds to 40 mph near thunderstorms.
Mixing height.......5400 ft AGL (40-50th Percentile).
Transport winds.....South 10 to 15 mph.

.THURSDAY NIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (30-40 percent cloud cover). A
                    Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms,
                    mainly during the evening.
