.DISCUSSION...A storm system will cross Utah today. However,
limited moisture will be available, and the bulk of the
precipitation will occur across northern and central Utah. As a
result, precipitation will be spotty and very light at the burn
site, and will occur mainly this morning through early afternoon.
Light southerly winds this morning will turn northwest late this
morning behind a cold front. Temperatures will also trend cooler
behind this front. High pressure and drier conditions return
tomorrow, but a weak weather disturbance will then cross the area
tomorrow night into Friday. This second system is not expected to
bring measurable precipitation to the area. Thereafter,
temperatures trend warmer again and a more prolonged period of dry
and stable conditions will settle into the area through at least
the middle to latter part of next week.
