.DISCUSSION...A disturbance approaching from the west will bring
increased winds...and another warm day to the Salina Canyon area.
Expect an increased threat of high-based showers and
thunderstorms after 1200, with gusts in excess of 50 mph possible
near high-based convection. This threat will largely end around
1700-1800. A cold front will cross the site during the late
evening, shifting winds to the northwest. Northwest winds will
continue into Thursday
Temperatures will trend 5 degrees or so cooler Thursday but
humidities will remain quite low. A warming trend will continue
through Friday. A cooling, higher RH trend will begin Saturday and
continue through Monday.
