.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry conditions will remain in place over the next
24-48 hours as the burn area remains under the influence of a
ridge of high pressure. Breezy southwesterly winds are expected to
pair with relative humidity in the upper teens this afternoon to
produce elevated fire weather conditions. This will also be the
case during the afternoon on Wednesday as we see a slight increase
in southwesterly flow as a weak weather system pushes into the
area through the second half of the day. Additionally, overnight
relative humidity recovery is expected to be quite poor from
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as the airmass remains very
dry. Conditions over the burn area will remain dry as this system
pushes through, though a significant increase in relative humidity
is expected in the wake of the expected cold front.
