.DISCUSSION...Mostly dry and mild conditions continue through
Saturday as high pressure prevails across the region. Southerly
flow remains in place today as a low pressure system deepens along
the west coast, though mixing remains overall limited. Increasing
mid-level moisture will bring increased cloud cover today into
Saturday, which will yield higher daytime RH values. The
aforementioned low pressure system is expected to move inland and
lift through Utah late Saturday into Sunday, which will bring much
cooler conditions to the area Sunday. Widespread precipitation is
also expected to accompany this system starting early Sunday,
continuing into early Monday morning.
