.DISCUSSION...An active weather period is expected to set in beginning
tomorrow as a cutoff low ejects through the area. Precipitation
will become increasingly widespread especially by mid to late
afternoon, and chances will remain high into Monday night. Showers
will gradually become more scattered pushing through the day
Monday. Total forecast water amounts with this storm are around
0.25" to 0.35", with around 1" to 2" of snow. The pattern will
remain active through the week with another cutoff low bringing
heightened precipitation chances Monday night into late Wednesday.
There is a bit more uncertainty with this system, but current
forecast water totals sit around roughly 0.20" to 0.30" with
around 2" to 3" of snow. Yet another system appears poised to move
by late in the week, but models support this one diving further
south with more limited impacts at the burn site. The flow
associated with the systems through midweek look favorable to
support daily clearing index values above 500, with values dipping
thereafter due to more muted influence from the late week system.
