...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON MONDAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT
MONDAY NIGHT FOR GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS AND LOW RH...

.DISCUSSION...Hot, dry, breezy and unstable southwesterly flow
will bring Red Flag conditions across the fire area Monday
afternoon. The overnight inversion will lift around 0900 allowing
RH values to quickly fall into the teens, before falling to near
10 percent after 1300. As this inversion lifts, southwesterly
flow will mix to the surface resulting in gusty winds in excess
of 25 mph throughout the afternoon. These very dry and breezy
conditions will continue through Monday evening resulting in an
extended burn period. A weak cold front will cross the area
late Monday night shifting winds to the north early Tuesday
morning. Behind this front, winds will remain predominantly
northwest Tuesday, while the airmass remains hot and very dry.
