.DISCUSSION...A cool northerly flow will spread over the area
Tuesday in the wake of a departing storm system, as high pressure
begins to build into the region. Gusty north-northwest winds will
persist throughout the day, and help to boost the Clearing Index
well above 500. Lingering moisture associated with the departing
storm system may allow for a couple of showers around the area,
but the chance of precipitation on the burn units Tuesday is only
10%. As this high continues to build into the area Wednesday
temperatures will trend slightly higher and RH a little lower.
Winds on Wednesday will trend a bit weaker, but remain sufficient
to keep the Clearing Index above 500.
