.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry conditions hold through at least
Saturday at the fire with poor overnight recoveries continuing.
This afternoon, humidities are forecast to once again remain in
the single digits with a similar trend continuing into Friday and
Saturday. Winds will taper down this afternoon compared to the
past few days with wind gusts out of the northwest generally
maxing out around 20-25mph. Temperatures will remain hot,
particularly across lower elevation locations, and continue to
heat up through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday featuring similar
temperatures. Chances for precipitation at the fire remain quite
low through Saturday with chances increasing Sunday as a monsoonal
moisture push looks to develop.
