.DISCUSSION...Precipitation will increase later today and into
tonight as a storm system crosses the area. Showers will be more
isolated to widely scattered through around mid-morning, with
coverage and probabilities then increasing after 1000 or 1100.
Occasional showers will continue through the day into tonight,
then becoming more isolated during the day Thursday before
tapering off Thursday evening. With cooler air arriving behind a
cold front, expect snow levels to fall below the burn site by late
this afternoon. Precipitation amounts this morning through
Thursday will most likely fall between the 0.1-0.25 inch range,
with up to 1 inch of snow. Southerly winds will remain enhanced
with relatively strong gusts through early afternoon ahead of the
cold front, then switching more west to northwesterly behind it
before gradually weakening. Mixing conditions will remain
excellent today due to the unsettled weather, then will start to
decrease tomorrow into the weekend.
