559 FNUS75 KSLC 190811 SMFSLC Smoke Management Forecast National Weather Service Salt Lake City Utah 133 AM MDT Wed Jun 19 2024......ADeSmet .DISCUSSION...A somewhat stable airmass will be in place for Wednesday mainly for northwest airsheds bringing good clearing and mixing. Excellent mixing and clearing will be in place elsewhere. Mixing heights deepen Thursday, bringing a return to excellent clearing statewide. Pockets of slightly degraded mixing and clearing are possible across eastern valleys on Friday as cloud cover and associated showers with a few thunderstorms move across this area. Lingering moisture will continue to favor reduced mixing across eastern valleys Saturday, with pockets of only fair mixing expected. Outside of eastern valleys on Saturday, excellent clearing is forecast.
