...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Wasatch, southwestern Duchesne and southeastern Utah Counties through
815 PM MDT
...

At 745 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20
miles east of Mapleton, or 27 miles east of Payson, moving east at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Strawberry Reservoir.

This includes the following highways...
 US Route 6 between mile markers 200 and 202.
 US Route 40 between mile markers 44 and 53.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Strawberry Reservoir, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
