...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northeastern
Washington and south central Iron Counties through 945 PM MDT
...

At 902 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near New Harmony to 8 miles northwest of Zion
National Park. Movement was north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cedar City, Zion National Park, Kanarraville, Hamilton Fort, and
Kolob Canyon.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 15 between mile markers 38 and 60.
 Utah Route 56 between mile markers 47 and 61.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
