...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of north central Wayne,
southwestern Emery and southeastern Sevier Counties through 545 PM
MDT
...

At 507 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles northeast of Torrey, or 22 miles north of Capitol Reef National
Park. This storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central
Wayne, southwestern Emery and southeastern Sevier Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
