...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of south central Iron
County through 445 PM MDT
...

At 418 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Cedar City to near New Harmony. Movement
was southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cedar City, Kanarraville, and Hamilton Fort.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 15 between mile markers 44 and 62.
 Utah Route 56 between mile markers 51 and 61.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
