The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North central Washington County in southwestern Utah...

* Until 730 PM MDT.

* At 640 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Veyo, or 23
  miles east of Beaver Dam, moving northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Dameron Valley, Pine Valley, and Veyo.

This includes Utah Route 18 between mile markers 16 and 32.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
