.DISCUSSION...
Periods of Elevated Fire Weather Conditions will continue through
early Thursday morning due to low daytime humidities and breezy
to gusty winds. North wind gusts of 20-25 mph in the Valley and
along the Coast Range and east to northeast wind gusts 30-40 mph
along the Sierra persist through this morning. Strongest higher
terrain winds are expected over ridges and through northeast
aligned canyons. Winds will taper through the morning but remain
breezy the remainder of today into Thursday. Daytime humidity
values are forecast to remain in the teens to low 20s with poor to
limited overnight recoveries through the end of the week as above
normal temperatures prevail.
