LEAD TO ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS TODAY...

Seasonably warm and dry conditions are forecast to prevail
throughout the region over the coming days. Wind gusts up to 30
mph will develop in the Burney Basin this afternoon alongside
daytime humidity values in the upper teens to low 20s. Combined,
this will lead to elevated fire weather concerns for eastern
Shasta County. Thunderstorm chances around 10% east of the Sierra
crest through the weekend. Otherwise, breezy afternoon winds up to
15-25 MPH elsewhere, strongest in the afternoon and evening and
lowering RH trends for the northern Sacramento Valley into Sunday.
