.DISCUSSION...
An unsettled weather pattern will keep unseasonably cool
temperatures, breezy onshore winds, increasing humidity values,
and shower and isolated thunderstorm chances in the area through
the end of the week. Strongest south to west winds gusting 25 to
35 mph are expected into the northern Sacramento Valley, Burney
Basin, northeast foothills and along the Sierra crest on
Wednesday, remaining breezy along the crest through Friday.
Highest precipitation chances are forecast Wednesday through
Friday as well from the Interstate 80 corridor northward, with
best wetting rain potential in the mountains and northern
Sacramento Valley. Additionally, the highest thunder chances,
around 10 to 15%, are expected across the northern Sacramento
Valley and surrounding terrain.
