.DISCUSSION...
Periods of Elevated Fire Weather Conditions will continue to be
observed through Thursday morning due to low daytime humidities
and breezy to gusty winds. North wind gusts of 20-25 mph in the
Valley will develop on Tuesday and Wednesday, strongest along and
west of the I-5 corridor. Northeast to east winds develop over the
Sierra later tonight and continue through early Thursday morning,
where gusts of 30-40 mph will be possible. Strongest winds over
ridges and through northeast aligned canyons. Humidity values will
fall into the teens to low 20s Tuesday and Wednesday, with slight
recoveries into the mid 20s by Thursday.
