.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather continues through the weekend with seasonable
temperatures and breezy southwest winds for the Sierra. On
Monday the northern Sacramento Valley, northeast foothills and
Burney Basin will see locally breezy south to southwest winds and
low humidity through the afternoon and early evening, leading to
a period of elevated fire weather conditions. Unseasonably cool
temperatures are expected through next week with increasing
humidity levels. Rain showers are possible over northwestern
Shasta County Tuesday afternoon and evening, and can`t rule out an
isolated thunderstorm. There is the potential return to wet
weather mid to late next week, although amounts and timing remains
uncertain.
