OVER THE COAST RANGE, SHASTA COUNTY, AND SOUTHERN CASCADES...
Winds turn southerly and become breezy this afternoon and
overnight into Wednesday. Daytime relative humidity will be
slightly higher than yesterday but still low. Seasonable
temperatures continue today, before below-normal temperatures
return for mid-week. Slight chance of showers and a mix of wet/dry
thunderstorms along the Coast Range, Shasta County and southern
Cascades on Wednesday and Thursday leading to fire weather
concerns from lightning ignitions, dry weather elsewhere. Warming
and drying then expected over the weekend.
