Weekend...

Temperatures peak today, then cool to well below normal for
Friday into the weekend. Breezy onshore winds and low humidity
will bring brief periods of elevated fire weather conditions
through the end of the week, mainly across the northern Sacramento
and northern San Joaquin valleys. Gusty northerly winds return
for the weekend, peaking late Saturday, bringing potentially
increased fire weather conditions for lower elevations. Slight
chance of light rain showers Friday into Saturday morning over
northern Shasta County.
