Hot and dry conditions continue through the next several days
across the region. Elevated Fire Weather Concerns for the northern
Sacramento Valley, Sierra Foothills, and the Burney Basin through
Monday due to a combination of hot temperatures, poor overnight
recoveries, breezy to locally gusty conditions, and low daytime
humidity (single digits to teens). Additionally, Elevated Fire
Weather Concerns this weekend for the Sierra Crest I-80 south due
to 10-15% isolated thunderstorm chances. Increasing but uncertain
chances for mountain thunderstorms late next week as well.
