.DISCUSSION...

Dry and sunny conditions expected Friday into the weekend, with
cooler temperatures today compared to yesterday. Thunderstorm
chances drop off to less than 10% today-weekend, with the majority
of thunderstorm activity remaining east of the Sierra crest.

Winds will be diurnally driven with south-southeast winds in the
evening/overnight hours, transitioning to west-southwest during
the late morning/afternoon hours. Breeziest winds will be during
the afternoon with gusts 15 to 20 mph at times. Temperatures warm
up slightly over the weekend and into next week with lower daytime
humidities and a similar wind pattern.
