THURSDAY EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...
Mostly clear tonight, with breezy southwest winds in the early evening
with gusts to 17 mph then becoming light southeast by late evening and
continuing overnight. Cooler temperatures Wednesday, with minimum
afternoon humidity around 34 percent, about a 10 percent increase over
the Tuesday minimum. Mostly cloudy skies with patchy morning
smoke. Light southeast winds continue Wednesday morning, becoming
southwest by late morning, up to around 8 mph with gusts up to 20
mph by mid-afternoon. Mostly cloudy Wednesday night with a slight
chance (15%) of thunderstorms early morning Thursday. Gusty,
erratic winds are possible with any storms that develop near the
fire. There is a Fire Weather Watch in effect for the area late
Wednesday night through Thursday evening for thunderstorms and
strong outflow winds, as well as possible new starts from
lightning.
