.DISCUSSION...
Winds near the fire`s location over the last 24 hours have been primarily
light (less than 5 mph) and variable, however over several periods during
this time they have been non-existent. Overnight tonight, that trend is
expected to continue, with light and variable winds occurring if any do at
all. Nearby locations may see light (less than 5 mph) easterly winds.
Starting Monday, winds will remain fairly light (less than 10 mph sustained),
but will have a more clear diurnal component following the terrain. There is
up to a 20% chance for gusts up to 15 mph, but generally winds should be
lighter. Overnight Thursday into Friday, winds will be more clearly southerly
and breezy with gusts up to 15 mph in the forecast; there is a 50-75% chance
for gusts of 15 mph or higher on both of these days. Non-zero chance (less
than 5%) for showers both Monday evening and again on Friday morning. Daytime
humidities will be in the low 30s through Tuesday, decreasing slightly
Wednesday and Thursday but remaining primarily in the 20s still. Thursday
sees the highest chance for humidities in the high teens. Otherwise,
seasonable temperatures with highs in the low to mid 80s and lows in the high
50s to low 60s.
