            *** 1 FATAL ***
            A 71 year old man drowned after his car was
            swept into a creek crossing a flooded bridge
            on Fifield Rd. in Pleasant Grove in Sutter
            County around 2:34 pm on 11/14/2025. The
            California Highway Patrol reported that
            there was 2-3 feet of water on the bridge
            that pushed the vehicle into the creek. They
            also reported that there were signs around
            the bridge in both directions warning of the
            danger of the flooded roadway. There was
            1.37 inches of rain reported at Sacramento
            International Airport on 11/13/2025.
